We don’t have any nicks for the letters U, V, W, X, Y and Z as of yet but we will be adding them soon.

Have a suggestion? Feel free to leave it in the comments below and we will include it in this list.

Tips for Choosing the Right Nickname

The best nicknames are those which have some personal meaning.

You can pick out something which is either a physical attribute or personality trait and do something with that.

For example, if he’s very well built/manly you could call him ‘Arnie’/’Conan’ or if he loves chocolate you could use something like ‘Choc-prince’ or ‘sweet-prince’.

If you love his eyes then something like ‘bright eyes’ or ‘angel eyes’.

If he is a little more rounded and isn’t sensitive about it you could perhaps use something like ‘sugar-belly’ or Winnie (the Pooh). Cheesy maybe, but you get the idea!

You can also build a nickname around something which has significant and/or private meaning to the 2 of you – for example the place that you met.

Keep in mind that many guys seem to like things which highlight their manliness and sexiness or suggest something mysterious about them. In which case you could use a nickname which incorporates ‘dark’, ‘fire’, ‘bad’ or something similar.

You can also use his name, combining that with something else for example Ty-tiger or honey-Ty.

Write some words down and play with them a little to see which combinations work best. Hope that helps get your ideas flowing anyway.

(Update: Thanks to CrystalKitty for some great suggestions). So if you know any cute nicks that start with these letters, add a comment and I will add it to this list. Mean time, have fun!

  • Katy Meehan

  • Destiny

Hey, this has really helped me find a nick for my Cuddle Cakes, thanks! 🙂

  • Anonymous

What about “favorite” for the letter ‘f’?

Maybe for the letter ‘I’ it could be “icing” like he is the icing on the cake. Or for the letter ‘O’, “only one for me”

Maybe try “very” with above choices for the letter ‘V’? Example – “very handsome” or “very hunky”.

Maybe play with the word exactly for the letter ‘X’. “Xactly mine” etc.

  • crystalkitty
